Are dental X-rays bad for our health?

This question is one of the most frequently asked by patients. All of us are exposed to a certain amount of radiation during the day, which unfortunately we cannot avoid. We come into contact with it daily, for example from TV sets, computers or other medical examinations. Dental X-rays are not dangerous! Thanks to this precise examination, we can detect many problems that are invisible to the eye.

What types of dental X-rays are used?

Intraoral imaging – this type of X-ray is one of the most commonly used. It is mainly used for detailed imaging of the condition of individual teeth, detection of hidden caries or during root canal treatment (endodontics).
Panoramic dental X-ray – this one is mainly used when the dentist needs to examine not only the teeth, but also the bones, the mandible, sinuses and temporomandibular joint.
3D CT dental X-ray – this is a three-dimensional image that is essential before a tooth implantation or extraction and similar. Thanks to this, the dentist can determine the exact condition and thickness of the bone, or the exact place of growth of the wisdom teeth.

What type of dental X-rays do we make at our clinic?

Mam panicky strach zo zubarov (kvoli zlej skusenosti z detstva) cize do kliniky na odstranenie spodnej osmicky som prisla s placom. Dievcata na recepcii boli velmi mile, takisto pan Dr. Novák bol skvely. Vysvetlil mi zakrok, pichol mi injekciu (z ktorej som mala takisto strach) uplne bez bolesti a osmicka bola vonku do 20 minut. Pocas zakroku som takmer nic necitila (iba tlak sem tam). Urcite sa sem vratim a nabuduce uz bez placu 😉 velmi velmi dakujem za skvely pristup a za rychle vybavenie!

Veľmi ochotný a priateľský personál. Pán doktor mi poradil podľa môjho názoru podľa najlepšieho svedomia a vedomia, keďže mi odporučil návštevu ortodoncie, ktorú ani nemajú na klinike a teda určite sa nesnažia za každú cenu spraviť zákrok, ktorý nepovažujú za najlepšie riešenie.

Dental Centrum som navštívil s bolesťou osmicky, kvôli ktorej som nemohol už ani spat. Objednal som sa cez internet a o pár hodín som už sedel v kresle. Popísal som ťažkosti, nasledoval rýchly RTG a zub išiel von. Všetko vidíte pred sebou na obrazovke. Pan doktor Bódi mi počas celého vysetrenia vysvetľoval čo sa bude diat - špeciálne jemu dakujem! Všetko prebehlo bez bolesti. Motivovaný na ďalšiu návštevu vrelo odporúčam, príjemný personál, skvele vybavenie, vsetko na jednotku 👍

Odporúčam všetkým, ktorý majú strach zo zubára. Naozaj milý, ľudský prístup a ceny sú tiež prijateľné. Určite sa tam veľmi rada vrátim ( a to mám panický strach zo zubarov). Ďakujem obzvlášť pánovi doktorovi Novákovi za jeho prístup a pomoc.

Potreboval som narýchlo opraviť zub, tak som pogooglil, zavolal sem a dostal rýchly termín (môj zubár mal všetko obsadené na najbližšie 3 mesiace). Krásne moderné priestory, recepcia, high tech zariadeniela a najmä profesionalita aj s podaním ruky. Pripravte si peňaženku, tu sa na poisťovňu nerobí.

Endodencia úplne bezbolestná, veľmi pekne ďakujem za odborný a profesionálny prístup p. Nováka.Napriek komplikovanému zákroku, doteraz moja najpríjemnejšia návšteva zubárske ambulancie.

Do Dental Centrum Nivy chodím už niekoľko rokov. O moje zuby sa vždy kvalitne postarali bývalá skvelá pani doktorka Bordašová a skvelý pan doktor Novák, ktorý mi robil kvalitny zubny mostik a ja sa tak môžem usmievať. Viem,že keď mám akýkoľvek problém alebo bolesť zubov,mozem sa na nich kedykoľvek obrátiť. K inému zubárovi by som už nešla.

Bol som trhať zub. Všetko prebehlo v poriadku, pán doktor bol profesionálny. Vybavili ma naozaj za 15 minút, ani som poriadne nečakal. Zákrok bezbolestný, mesiac aj niečo po zákroku nemám žiadne problémy takže odporúčam
