Preventive check-ups ​

• The preventive check-up includes checking the condition of the teeth and periodontal tissues, the mucous membranes and important tissues of the oral cavity. A thorough examination can, for example, reveal anomalies in the position of the teeth and jaws. A preventive check-up can detect pre-cancerous and cancerous changes. As part of the examination itself, the lymph nodes are checked by touch.
• Through the use of a mirror and probe, which are an integral part of a dentist’s examination tools, the dentist focuses on detecting the presence of caries. The pits and fissures of the chewing surfaces and also the interdental spaces, where hidden cavities are often found, are thoroughly inspected.
• In addition to checking for caries, the preventive check-up also includes checking your state of dental hygiene. The presence of plaque and tartar are also checked. The dentist will assess whether dental hygiene is necessary.
• As part of the preventive check-up, X-rays are also taken, which can detect hidden dental cavities in advance.
• After the examination, the dentist informs the patient of the results. If a problem is discovered, at our clinic we try to create a treatment plan as soon as possible, including the quote. We leave nothing to chance!
